Gayatri Patel is daughter of Dr. Arvind Patel & Divya Patel and sister of Anand Patel and Radhika Patel; She studied Theater and Economics at Emory University in Atlanta, Ga. She is fluent in English, Hindi, and Gujarati. She has been classically trained in Kathak since a very young age.
Before starting her career as an actress with film Let's Dance, she has performed in many competitions. During her time at Emory, she won Miss India Georgia. She was also the runner up in the Miss India USA competition. She had participated in classic English plays in college when she was in the USA.
Gayatri Patel’s debut movie in bollywood is Let's Dance. She has the nickname Dancing Tornado because of her ability to integrate many styles of dance.
